That’s a lot! 。。。

“Sam, lets ask yourself a few question – did you write down every single book that you have read in your 阅读报告, for the past 3 years? …I don’t think so….If you have done that, I am sure you can easily reach the number.”

“Please understand that this is 阅读报告, not a competition. You read because you enjoy reading. You have fun. You learn something new from the books, maybe some new words, new phrases, new 成语,new knowledge. ”

“Another thing is, do you know what books your friends are reading? How many pages is the book? 40, 50 or 100?”

你看看你自己的阅读报告,有好几本书都是多过200 pages 的,《Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkabar》is at least 400 pages, right?”

“You are doing great, boy.

“Reading is a life time hobby, Sam. As long as you enjoy reading, you will be intelligent. Knowledgeable! Powerful! Please trust mommy.”

PLEASE EXPLAIN TO HIM 啦!

Hahaha..... i got what sailoh meant. Adults are always that controversial or conflict one lar. The same matter could be a "Yes" or "No" at times, depends on situation. You see, between black and white, there are different areas or shades of grey.
Sab was definitely right. "Reading is a life time hobby". Too bad that too few children nowadays taking up this hobby. Or shall i say, too few parents are cultivating their children into this hobby.

Lee Wai Wan Yah, cannot judge by reading how many books, actually Lynn read a lot of books since 4 years old. When she was younger, she can easily read 250 books per year. But when getting older the books are thicker and more homework, time spent on books become less.

Lee Wai Wan Forgot to ask, did you buy all the books? Can borrow after he has read?

Sabrina Woong CW Yes, most of them. those books he read during younger days, we gave them to his cousins. sure, why not? what type of books Lynn + Wen like to read?

Lee Wai Wan They love any books, just borrow for 2 months, then will return you, then you can pass to the cousins. But worry that Samson's book is too difficult for them only. I seldom buy books, mostly borrow from library.
