昨天晚餐后,孩子进书房拿了一本学校的练习簿。打开来,递给我。
“妈咪, 你看, 老师写给我的notes。”
接了过来~哦,是数学老师写的。
内容大概是他欣喜见到承懿的表现,觉得现有的功课对承懿来说是简单了些,叫承懿在下一堂课后见见他,会highlight给孩子知道到那一个课程网页找更适合他的练习。
我把练习簿合上,望着孩子。
他闪烁的眼神里有跳跃的音符。数学老师的肯定和鼓励对他有相当的“作用"。
“So, 很happy啦?老师称赞你哦。”
他抬起头,装模作样地用手指指着鼻头(意思是 hidung tinggi )。
然后对着我笑:“Still room for improvement la, I know."
是的, 不断进步就好了。

And glad to know that Sam found "there is always space for improvement"!
To me, the latter is more important than anything else. :)
