职业

周二是公众假期。难得一家可以一块坐下来吃早餐。到住家附近的一家咖啡店吃经济炒米粉，胖老爷的favourite。呵呵！我们就坐在柜台前面的那张桌子。每一位在付钱顾客的背，就刚好在承懿的左边 （相差两个脚板的距离而已）。

一边看小说一边吃早餐的宝贝忽然间很轻声地说 : "Do you think he is a painter?"
他的眼神说不上是厌恶、嫌弃；但可以洞悉有那么一些“不敢恭维”。
噢。承懿的左边有一位年轻人在付钱。他染了一头金发、身上穿着很普通的牛仔裤T恤；不过衣裤上有很多染料或是漆料的痕迹。很明显的他是位油漆工人，又或者是从事汽车喷漆之类工作。
胖爸爸说　：　"Ya, I think so...How come you know he is a painter?"
"Err....so much stain on his clothes , dad...and he is dirty."
今天有“观察能力”哦，不过还是那副“不要靠近我”的表情。
"Eh, boy. You can not say that. He is a painter, that's why his clothes has those colour stain. BUT you have to respect him also. He earn money with his own effort, his own skill."
妈咪也来插嘴了。
"Exactly. What papa said is right! We have to respect his profession. He uses his own effort to earn a living, just like dad does.而且他没有偷没有抢没有骗。用自己的劳力来赚钱。你不应该嫌人家dirty。”
承懿的眼睛睁到大大。
"You know that gong-gong is a motor mechanic. I mean he used to be a motor mechanic."
点点头。
"When mommy was young, gong gong always came back home with his hand and arms with black colour."
"Why?"
"Engine oil stains and his body had a weird smell also...Am I supposed to look down on him because he is 'dirty' and 'stinky'?"
没有出声。
"Of course not! That's his profession. He earn his living...and raised up mommy, E-ma and KFC. See?"
"We have to respect a person's profession...everyone of us has different task. Dad is an engineer, he can do electrical works but he still sends his car to mechanic for maintenance. If we really want our house to have a new look, we have to hire those painters to help us. We need their expertise."
爸爸也来补充了。
“每个人有每个人的工作。不可以live alone的。医生也要吃饭、修理汽车、剪头发啊。。。所以他会去找hawker、mechanic、hair dresser。明白吗？”
好像有点懂了啦。

职业无分贵贱。
只要不是偷不是抢不是骗，用自己的劳力脑力来谋生都是值得尊重的。
爸爸和妈咪的长篇大论让宝贝明白了多少？
希望多多少少对他的价值观有些正面的引导就好了。继续加油。
